Job Description

Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) officer to work in a dynamic mission-oriented environment within McLean, Virginia. As an QA officer you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within client systems, accomplish audits, identify process improvements, implement corrective actions, and develop documents and reports with findings and procedures to prevent recurring quality issues.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive quality assurance and quality control activities to verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data within client systems and databases.
  • Develop, document, and implement QA test plans, procedures, and checklists aligned with the Quality Management Plan (QMP), approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable government guidelines.
  • Conduct scheduled and ad hoc audits, assessments, and compliance reviews to evaluate adherence to established quality standards and identify areas of non-compliance or risk.
  • Analyze audit findings and quality metrics to identify root causes of defects, data discrepancies, and process gaps, and recommend actionable corrective and preventive measures.
  • Implement corrective actions and process improvements to resolve identified quality issues and prevent recurrence, tracking each action through to verified closure.
  • Prepare detailed reports, findings summaries, and procedural documentation to communicate quality status, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including data engineers, analysts, and mission operators-to integrate quality standards into workflows and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of identity and screening data systems by validating data quality controls and ensuring outputs meet mission accuracy requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience performing quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and systems.
  • Experience developing and implementing QA test plans and procedures.
  • Experience conducting audits, assessments, and compliance reviews in accordance with Quality Management Plan (QMP), approved SOPs, and government guidelines.

Required minimum skills and knowledge:
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

  • Junior Level:
    • Bachelor's degree OR Masters OR PhD with 0 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 3 years of experience OR High-School with 6 years of experience.
    • Compensation: $68,200 - $106,525
  • Senior Level:
    • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 1 years of experience OR PhD with 0 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of experience OR High-School with 9 years of experience
    • Compensation: $90,700 - $141,775

Travel up to 10% within US

Lift up to 30 lbs, walk, bend, drive

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with an intelligence community department or agency.
  • Experience working with identity and screening data and / or systems.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

USD $68,200.00 - USD $141,775.00 /Yr.
