Job Description

Duties

  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date facilities records for all maintenance and sustainment actions loaded into the Recruiting Facilities Management Information System (RFMIS).
  • You will enter all maintenance requests received from recruiting stations into the RFMIS system by category (e.g., Routine, Safety, Security, Emergent, etc.) to ensure proper prioritization by the Army Corps of Engineers.
  • You will maintain a facilities utilization program by creating a folder for each recruiting station with current points of contact, service call logs, floor plans, photos of the station, copies of the lease and all other pertinent facilities data.
  • You will conduct required semi-annual, annual, and tri-annual inventories, generating reports and queries as required.
  • You will prepare centralized purchase requests for specific, clearly defined supply items, equipment and services.
  • You will ensure supply requisitions are in compliance with budget and procurement rules, regulations, and policies.
  • You will perform administrative and training functions of all assigned military and civilian members regarding travel orders.
  • You will be the Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for all travel credit cards held by command members and ensure travel accounts are in good standing.
  • You will act as a liaison between command travel cardholders and the bank-card vendor for billing and activation/deactivation requirements.
  • You will prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed for leadership decision-making.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating facility maintenance and property accountability; 2) Preparing purchase requests and monitoring supply inventories; 3) Managing travel authorizations, vouchers, and credit card accounts (e.g., DTS/GTCC); and 4) Drafting operational correspondence and data reports using office automation tools.
