Overview
Job Title: SCA Shipping Receiving Technician
Location: Gulfport, MS Mano Lani LLC is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Technician who supports daily logistics operations including warehouse management, inventory control, equipment accountability, packing and crating, shipping coordination, receiving operations, and pickup/delivery of assets. This role ensures accurate documentation, safe material handling, and compliance with Air Force and DoD logistics standards across multiple supply systems (ILS-S, DPAS, CMOS, IGC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Warehouse & Stock Control - Manage stock levels, reorder points, and property accountability; maintain accurate documentation, reports, and due-in/due-out records; conduct periodic warehouse inspections; monitor shipment status and ensure timely movement of assets.
• Equipment & Asset Management - Validate and update equipment authorizations; receive, issue, and turn in assets; maintain organizational equipment folders; conduct inventories and reconciliations; process MICAP actions and ensure mission support requirements are updated in supply systems.
• Repair Cycle Operations - Process TCTO and warranty items; manage DIFM/DIFR operations; coordinate disposal or shipment of condemned assets; maintain supply point loads, changes, and validations; monitor Awaiting Parts Program daily.
• Demand & Requisition Processing - Process customer requisitions; perform quality control on requests; research alternate sources; update ISG groups; load new part numbers; receive requisitions via multiple communication channels.
• Inventory Management - Conduct spot inventories; research and resolve discrepancies; complete inventory adjustments and reverse post transactions; maintain accurate documentation and filing.
• Material Handling & Sensitive Item Control - Off-load vehicles; verify bills of lading; inspect shelf-life and ESD items; deliver assets on-base and to DLA; operate forklifts and pallet jacks; validate AA&E and ESD shipments; maintain required shipment-preparer certifications.
• Packing & Crating - Perform packing, preservation, cushioning, and container selection; prepare and verify shipping documentation and special handling requirements; operate packaging equipment; ensure safe handling, storage, labeling, and shipment of sensitive materials.
• Shipping Operations - Plan and execute CONUS/OCONUS shipments; consolidate loads when beneficial; coordinate carrier selection; determine freight classifications; apply tariffs and transportation directives; ensure compliance with controlled-material movement rules.
• Receiving Operations - Inbound cargo into ILS-S, CMOS, and IGC; receive, inspect, and distribute supplies; research shortages, overages, or damages; obtain receipt signatures; maintain documentation for all incoming freight; verify all items during off-load.
• Pickup & Delivery - Deliver inbound cargo to on-base customers; support outbound shipments; obtain signatures and process delivery documentation; transport DoD assets-including GPC purchases-to required locations.

Qualifications
• Experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or military logistics
• Knowledge of ILS-S, DPAS, CMOS, IGC, and DAFMAN 23-300
• Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Completion of required shipment-preparer certification (with 24-month refresher)
• Strong documentation accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
• Effective communication and coordination skills
Physical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
