BOAB Ventures is seeking a Systems Engineer to support advanced national security and space-related mission capabilities. The successful candidate will provide systems engineering expertise across the program lifecycle, ensuring technical requirements are effectively developed, managed, integrated, and delivered to meet mission objectives.
Responsibilities
• Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements and technical baselines.
• Support system architecture, design reviews, integration, testing, and verification activities.
• Conduct requirements traceability and technical risk assessments.
• Coordinate with program managers, engineers, and mission stakeholders.
• Develop technical documentation, engineering analyses, and executive briefings.
• Support system lifecycle activities from concept development through deployment and sustainment.
• Evaluate technical solutions and provide recommendations to Customer leadership.
• Assist with configuration management, change control, and technical planning activities.
• Identify and resolve system integration and performance issues.
Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience supporting complex technical programs.
• Experience with requirements development, systems integration, testing, and verification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.
Desired Skills
• Experience supporting space, intelligence, defense, cyber, or advanced technology programs.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, or digital engineering methodologies.
• Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes and industry standards.
• Experience supporting technical reviews, architecture development, and risk management activities.
• INCOSE certification or other relevant engineering certifications.
