Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Structural Welder to join our team in Panama City, FL. This is an onsite position.

Physical Requirements:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform precision welding on aerospace components using TIG, MIG, and other welding techniques.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Conduct structural repairs and modifications on Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Iconel
- components.
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and comply with applicable codes and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed welding records, inspection logs, and fabrication documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding on aerospace-grade materials
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications
- Experience in MIG/TIG welding of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Inconel components
- Ability to obtain the NAVSEA certification in welding techniques for Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Inconel welding within first year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding Technical School Training and Certification
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance or ability to get an Interim Secret before starting.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to frequently move about industrial and fabrication areas, including climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to weld in various positions and locations including in and around a Navy LCAC.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve briefings or technical discussions.
