Lead System Architect
Work Type: Full Time
Location: Remote (EST Work hours)
Clearance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active government security clearance or eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Role and Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership as a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA), ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand application requirements.
Define IT strategies and manage infrastructure to meet organizational objectives.
Lead teams in system design, deployment, and performance optimization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and information security protocols.
Provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development framework.
Co-design Pega integrations with other technologies in collaboration with integration architects and cross-technology counterparts.
Coordinate with the Pega vendor on Service Requests and their resolution.
Manage Pega platform-level Section 508 defects and their resolution plans.
Perform design and code reviews; ensure code quality, guardrail compliance, best practices, and performance requirements.
Mentor and guide junior developers and system architects.
Qualifications and Skills
8+ years of experience in IT leadership/architecture, specializing in Pega.
Certified Pega Lead System Architect is required.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking, and security standards.
Experience with Pega Infinity, Constellation UX Design System, and Version 8.X.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal skills for dynamic, project-based roles.
Experience working with Pega eForms and PDF content generation is preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $130,000-155,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
