Information Technology - Software Engineer Location: Littleton, CO, 80125, United States About the Role Join our dynamic EGSE Organization as a Software Engineer and drive modernization efforts that enhance efficiency, security, automation, and scalability. Collaborate within a passionate, cross-functional Agile team to deliver robust solutions supporting critical aerospace and defense missions. Responsibilities - Plan, conduct, and coordinate full lifecycle software development projects - Design, develop, test, and debug software solutions for automated test equipment (ATE) and mission systems - Apply standards, processes, and best practices to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery - Collaborate closely with software, systems, electrical, and test engineers to solve complex technical challenges - Interface with product line managers and directorates to gather requirements and align software solutions with organizational needs - Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware integration issues - Maintain comprehensive documentation, operating instructions, and records of program development - Ensure strict compliance with software quality and security standards Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience - Proficient in C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, or TestStand - Background in automated test equipment software design - Experience with product lifecycle management and issue-tracking systems - Strong foundation in Python scripting - Active DoD Secret clearance (required prior to start) - Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance Preferred Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Hands-on experience with software integration on hardware test systems - Familiarity with troubleshooting network devices and lab instrumentation - Prior work with Electrical Ground Support Equipment or aerospace/defense communication systems - Experience with Atlassian suite and Agile development processes - Strong written and verbal communication abilities Benefits - Collaborative, mission-driven team environment - Opportunities for professional growth and advancement - Exposure to cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies - Comprehensive benefits package (details provided during interview) How to Apply Ready to take your software engineering career to new heights?
