Job Description
New Era Technologies is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer who will develop models using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for USSF systems.
The critical activity your efforts will support will be the creation of multiple instantiations of National Space Test and Training Complex enterprise architectures at various classification levels.
You will develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
You will develop system models and create representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability.
You will implement and manage system architectures in the MBSE environment.
You will support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing and perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.
In this role, you will utilize strong written, communication, and presentation skills, and work effectively in a team environment.
You will participate in the development of studies to support the selection preferred design solutions and course of action alternatives in project development/product delivery.
You will participate in project/program technical risk analysis and mitigation.
You will analyze and evaluate systems using MBSE artifacts.
You will participate in requirements reviews and create/update requirements specifications and technical documentation.
Required
ABET accredited engineering degree or BS in technical field
6 years of related experience
Experience with various model-based system engineering tools - Rhapsody, Cameo Magic Draw, Rhapsody
Must have an in-scope DoW Top Secret security clearance
Desired
ABET accredited systems engineering degree or related engineering field
OCSMP levels 1 and 2, INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certifications
