In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
BAE Systems is looking for an Engineering Assistant IV on the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Technical Operations Team. Our Technical Operations team supports the assembly, test and inspection of many ACES products and we regularly interface, collaborate and support Engineering, Systems, Supply Chain, Quality and Operations Functions to meet business and customer's needs.
This position will primarily focus on process, product verification and first article inspection (PPV/FAI). This position may include process authoring, administrative process support tasks and engaging with continuous improvement activities or other activities as assigned. This position will work closely with the TechOps teams as well as Quality engineers to complete PPV/FAIs.

Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma OR GED
- 3-4 years' relevant work experience working in a factory.
- Ability to work independently across multiple factories supporting multiple programs.
- Have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and strong ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other applicable communication applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate activities or resources.
- Ability to obtain secret clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Secret Clearance.
- High school diploma and minimum of 4 years' experience working in a regulated factory setting.
- Experience with AS9145, QMS systems, non-conformance processing, change/revision controls and ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications into quality or process documents.
- Proficiency in using Paperless MES system or equivalent.
- Product, process verification (PPV) and first article inspection (FAI) experience and training.
- Abilitiy to use Net-Inspect and Discus or equivalent systems for completing PPV/FAI documents.
- Experience in engaging and coordinating with functional teammembers such as Process Engineers, Quality Engineers, Supply Chain or production operators in a collaborative manner to initiate complete and close PPV/FAIs or other equivelent efforts.
- Technical writing or production inspection experience.
