Job Description
Title: Product Repair/Mod Tech A/ Electrical Technician
Location: Heath, OH 43056
Position Type: 6 months assignment with possible extension
Shift Schedule: Position will have a 1st shift training period, then will move to 2nd or 3rd shift.
Job Description:
• Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
• Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
• Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.
Required Qualifications:
• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance post-start
• Ability to work off shift (2nd/3rd).
• 1 or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions.
• Basic computer skills required including Microsoft office applications.
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units.
• 1 or more years’ experience soldering and assembly of equipment components.
• 1 or more years’ experience using handheld tools and/or power tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• 1 or more years working under a microscope.

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
