Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Project & Initiative Management: Coordinate and manage projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets
- Policy & Program Support: Develop, coordinate, and execute short- and long-term plans; provide guidance on policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a liaison between departments and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration
- Data & Reporting: Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and procedures
- Crisis & Contingency Support: Assist in crisis management and contingency planning
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, systems engineering, and federal acquisition requirements
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail; ability to multitask
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred
- Experience: 5+ years in a similar role; in defense sectors, 5-10 years in DoD/IC or related environments
- Certifications - PMP, CAPM or other relevant credentials not required but preferred
- Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
