Job Description:
This position is a Weekend Position - D-shift (4x10 Thursday-Sundays). start time 5 AM - 6AM
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and improving manufacturing processes using cutting edge technologies.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Create comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Implement automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency.
• Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
• Develop process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering or related discipline.
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with writing technical work instructions
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with Detailed knowledge of GD&T
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with SAP
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with Lean Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with working with electromechanical and/or optical assemblies
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with CREO/ProE with a focus on tool design
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing floor environment
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with RCCA investigations on complex failure modes
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with Process improvement using automation insertions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
• Ability to work D-shift (4x10 Thursday-Sundays)
