PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Aircraft Engine Technician, in Wichita, KS. Job ID# 225378
Job Description:
What are your contributions to the team?
� Adhere to general work requirements
� Inspect engines and/or APUs, components and associated aircraft systems and components in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals with minimal supervision
� Assist with installation, removal or modifications and repairs of turbine engines, APUs and airframe systems or components
� Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
� Assist with engine/APUs and related systems operational checks and functional tests
� Assist with performing complete engine runs
� Assist with off-aircraft component repair
� Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form
� Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
� Operate ground support equipment
� Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
� Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
� Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participatein5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
� Basic PC skills
