Job Description
COLSA is seeking a Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer to support our NASA Transformational Shared Services (NTSS) contract supporting the NASA Shared Services Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position will support the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications and solutions to automate and improve business processes.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, excluding the following states: AR, CT, DE, HI, IA, KS, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

- Recommend solutions to automate new and existing business processes using ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Activate and configure ServiceNow applications to meet business and customer requirements.
- Develop workflows and scripts to configure and enhance existing ServiceNow applications.
- Design and develop complex custom ServiceNow applications from initial concept through implementation to automate and improve business processes.
- Work closely with customers to research, design, develop, and deliver solutions that improve business processes and functionality.
- Identify and apply best practices for the development and maintenance of new and existing ServiceNow applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving software applications, system integrations, and multiple platforms.
- Perform feasibility analyses for potential projects and proposed solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend ServiceNow capabilities based on business and technical requirements.
- Support system and software deployment planning and ensure solutions meet applicable software compliance standards.
- Evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
- Mentor other software developers and review development work as needed.
- Develop and maintain software and technical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related discipline.
- 4+ years of overall information technology experience.
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including development of workflows and client-side and server-side scripting.
- 4+ years of experience working with ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Financial Management (ITFM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Knowledge of information technology software development methodologies and scripting/programming languages.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to successfully complete a background investigation for a NASA Public Trust position.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certification, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience with web services and databases.
- Knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, and web development.
