Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-driven Senior Logistics Planner to join our team in Guam .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Authorizes, plans, and coordinates the overarching technical execution of logistics planning studies and validates the accuracy of multidepartmental sustainment models across public and private sector configurations.
- Serve as the final authority for investigating enterprise planning discrepancies and approving complex root cause analyses to address strategic distribution gaps.
- Formulate long-range logistical policies and establish rigorous performance baselines to optimize organizational readiness metrics.
- Authorize and validates the synchronization of theaterwide distribution activities, surface husbandry requirements, and multimodal transit coordination with critical joint, component, and expeditionary command partners.
- Lead high-level strategic assessments of theater resource utilization and approve Tactical Maneuver Plans to protect logistics lines of communication in contested settings.
- Deliver expert-level briefings and strategic optimization papers to senior leadership to systematically mitigate regional sustainment gaps.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Experience in formal logistics oversight and leading technical root cause analysis for sustainment disruptions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or any higher degree.
- Experience with DoW logistics planning tools (e.g., JOPES or SMS).
- Knowledge of USSOCOM expeditionary logistics and joint theater distribution systems.
- Proficiency in Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) development and analysis.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must hold an active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
