DevSecOps Engineer
We are seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support a national security program focused on delivering secure, scalable, and rapidly deployable systems. This role supports CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and security across classified and unclassified environments.
Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot secure CI/CD pipelines for microservices and containerized applications.
Deploy and manage containers using Docker and AWS ECS; support Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
Integrate security tools and practices into development workflows, including shift-left security, vulnerability scanning, and code analysis.
Support environment hardening and secure cloud-native architectures.
Troubleshoot builds, deployments, infrastructure, and system performance issues.
Support RMF, STIG, vulnerability assessment, and compliance activities.
Document configurations and improve DevSecOps processes and tooling.
Required
Hands-on DevSecOps / CI/CD experience.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Strong AWS experience, including ECS and AWS CDK.
Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar.
Experience integrating GitLab, Docker, AWS CDK, and ECS for automated deployments.
Experience supporting secure environments and/or RMF/STIG compliance.
