Seeking a candidate with RedHat OpenShift administrator experience to oversee the health, performance, and stability of OpenShift clusters and support a team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government.
We are looking for a professional with relevant experience and a desire to work as part of a small, agile team supporting existing applications.
This role offers a strong opportunity to expand technical skills while making a meaningful impact on U.S. Government efforts.

This position is 100% onsite.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

· Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters for on-premises environments.

· Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors.

· Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster.

· Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable.

(IAT Level II)

Required Skills:

1+ year of proven experience managing and deploying OpenShift environments
3-5 years of proven experience with Linux administration and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems) or years of experience

Desired Skills:

Proficient in OpenShift and Rancher
Kubernetes fundamentals
Linux administration (especially RHEL)
Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) experience
