Position Summary
Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Equipment Specialist supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Munitions division (AFLCMC/EBH) at Eglin AFB, FL. This position supports munitions, weapons systems, and associated equipment and is critical for ensuring operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness across multiple platforms and environments.

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Equipment Specialist supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Munitions division (AFLCMC/EBH) at Eglin AFB, FL. This position supports munitions, weapons systems, and associated equipment and is critical for ensuring operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness across multiple platforms and environments.
Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide direct technical support for missiles, bomb racks, aircraft/SOF gun systems, small arms, launchers, associated support equipment, and containers
- Assist munitions/weapons field-level personnel in repair, sustainment, deficiency resolution, and interface activation issues
- Advise Single Managers, Major Command Action Officers, and Chief Engineers on system operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness (OSS&E) requirements
- Prepare and present technical briefings to high-level DoD and/or foreign military personnel
- Apply knowledge of CONUS and OCONUS travel preparation and policies; travel overseas as required
- Apply working knowledge of all applicable regulatory directives, guidance, and policies
- Perform prepublication and post-publication technical order (TO) reviews; conduct validation and verification of TO diagrams and procedures; provide TO support IAW USAF TO regulations
- Provide customer support to field users, command members, IPT members, section and branch leads
- Recommend changes or supplements; manage technical content for manuals, TOs/TCTOs, specifications, work control documents, and Time Compliance Technical Orders
- Apply and support configuration management, including Configuration Control Board processes
- Manage deficiency reporting, investigation, and resolution
- Support modification management for respective weapon systems.
- Document maintenance data and provisioning
- Recommend support equipment and establish new items/cataloguing
- Support development, revision, and testing of demilitarization procedures to ensure critical technologies are protected
- Manage Class V munitions and software
- Participate in mishap investigations
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Current Secret
Education and experience: 8 years of related experience on supported weapon system
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with USAF TO regulations (00-5 and 00-25 series)
- Working knowledge of regulatory directives, guidance, and policies
- Prior experience supporting DoD or foreign military programs
Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with demilitarization procedures and Class V munitions management.
- Experience with configuration management, deficiency reporting, and modification management.
- Experience with technical order reviews and validation/verification processes.
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong technical communication skills; ability to present to senior military personnel.
- Strong analytical abd problem-solving skills.
