Military Modernized GPS Cryptography Expert

This position requires a candidate with extensive experience in GPS cryptography and modernization efforts for military applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cryptographic systems, GPS signal processing, and the ability to work on cutting-edge technology projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement cryptographic solutions for GPS systems used in military applications
  • Participate in the modernization of existing GPS infrastructure to enhance security and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic modules into GPS hardware and software
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of cryptographic implementations to ensure compliance with military standards
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GPS cryptography systems in field operations
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in GPS cryptography and apply them to project needs


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in GPS systems and cryptography
  • Proven experience with cryptographic algorithms and protocols, particularly in military-grade systems
  • Strong understanding of GPS signal processing and modulation techniques
  • Experience with hardware security modules (HSMs) and secure element design
  • Knowledge of relevant military standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD-188, NSA guidelines)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Clearance: U.S. Citizen required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with specific military GPS programs or projects
  • Knowledge of cryptographic hardware acceleration and FPGA design
  • Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) and related technologies
  • Experience working with government contractors or defense agencies
