Job Description
Position Responsibilities
Engineer and sustain enterprise TCP/IP network services.
• Support Ethernet, ATM/SONET, and wide-area transport technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve network-service issues affecting mission availability.
• Provide senior engineering support for military C2 or comparable enterprise LAN/WAN environments
Required Qualifications
Required Education / Experience Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics plus three (3) years of specialized experience; or an Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or a major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
Required Specialized Certification Cisco Certified Network Professional (any) or JNCIS.
Required Specialized Experience Five (5) years of experience maintaining and developing TCP/IP networks over Ethernet, ATM/SONET, and/or wide-area transports; three (3) years must be direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems. Experience may be concurrent
