Job Description
NineFX is seeking a highly skilled Photogrammetrist to support advanced product evaluation, quality assurance, and new‑sensor integration for national‑level geospatial intelligence programs. In this role, you will perform detailed geometric analyses, evaluate imaging‑system performance, and contribute to end‑to‑end assessments that drive accuracy, reliability, and mission‑critical decision-making across NSG systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Model imaging sensors and decompose product‑formation components to evaluate full image‑chain performance
• Conduct high‑precision geolocation, mensuration, and geometric‑accuracy assessments
• Model geometric collection processes to establish exact ground‑to‑pixel relationships
• Support engineering analyses and evaluations for NSG systems and emerging sensor technologies
• Execute baseline performance assessments for sensor initialization, calibration, and stability verification
• Monitor, document, and trend system performance over time to identify degradations or anomalies
• Identify root‑cause factors impacting product quality and recommend corrective actions
Required Experience / Education
• Active TS; must upgrade to TS/SCI and polygraph within 30 days of hire or upon customer request
• 10+ years of imagery or imaging‑platform experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Photogrammetry, Image Science, Physics, Math, Statistics, or related field
• Hands‑on experience with ARC GIS, SOCET GXP, QT Modeler, Active Earthscape, ERDAS Imagine, or RemoteView
• Demonstrated expertise in geolocation and mensuration accuracy assessment
• Applied knowledge of imaging sensors, image products, and exploitation workflows
• Understanding of systems‑engineering lifecycles, independent testing approaches, and data‑verification methodologies
• Strong communication skills for briefing technical concepts and producing detailed test plans and evaluation reports
• Proven ability to operate independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced, mission‑driven environments
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with image‑quality standards, scales, and quantitative metrics
• Experience with DPPDB, CIB, and Controlled Image (CI Ortho) products
• Background in image processing or digital signal processing
• Knowledge of NSG TCPED image-chain components and workflows
• Experience with Mensuration Services Program (MSP)
• ASPRS membership or professional certification
• Experience in DoD or Intelligence Community operational, technical, or R&D environments
• Ability to develop engineering code (C, Python, MATLAB, IDL) to support repeatable analyses and algorithm development
