Position Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and implement software supporting cyber network defense and intrusion monitoring.
• Code, test, troubleshoot, and install software or operating-system components supporting data analysis.
• Prepare metrics, charts, diagrams, and technical recommendations for software solutions.
• Evaluate and improve software capabilities used for cyber defense analysis.
Required Qualifications
Required Education / Experience Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Business Administration, or Mathematics plus three (3) years of specialized experience; or an Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or a major certification plus seven (7) years of specialized experience; or eleven (11) years of specialized experience.
Required Specialized Certification At least one of the following: GPYC; GWEB; Red Hat Certified Enterprise Application Developer; Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate; GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate; Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Required Specialized Experience Experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions that meet cyber network defense requirements and support network intrusion monitoring. Experience coding, testing, troubleshooting, and installing operating systems or programs supporting data analysis requirements; preparing charts and diagrams for metrics analysis and problem evaluation; recommending software solutions; and evaluating software solutions to improve cyber network defense analysis capabilities.
