Responsibilities
- Analyze cybersecurity and operational data to identify trends, risks, and anomalies
- Support Splunk SIEM administration, dashboards, reporting, and investigations
- Manage and optimize Cribl log routing and data pipeline operations
- Support continuous threat monitoring and incident response activities
- Support AWS and VMware environments from a security operations perspective
- Develop security metrics, reporting, and operational insights for stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years in data analysis, security operations, or infrastructure support
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, particularly Splunk
- Proficiency with data pipelines and log routing tools like Cribl
- Familiarity with IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow
- Experience supporting virtualized and cloud environments (VMware, AWS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified, CISSP) are a plus but not mandatory
- Experience with forensic analysis and red teaming resources
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with media wiki documentation and incident tracking tools
- Familiarity with Splunk in cloud environments like AWS
Compensation
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
