Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national and DoW strategies, policies, and training related to classification management and program protection in support of the Department of Warfare (DoW).
- Lead and coordinate security reviews, evaluating and providing recommendations on security classification guidance and Program Protection Plans (PPPs), approximately twice annually.
- Collaborate with Research & Engineering (R&E), Acquisition & Sustainment (A&S), the DoW Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Joint Staff (J28), and other federal stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of Program Protection, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), Counterintelligence (CI), and information security policies.
- Develop action memos, congressional responses, manuals, and briefings for the Department
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 10+ years of policy development, policy analysis, operational planning work within the Department of War/DoD.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Operational experience as a staff officer on an OSW, JCS, or military HQ staff
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and develop actionable recommendations
- Experience drafting policy, action memos, and congressional responses in support of DoW Classification and Program Protection
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings, talking points, and decision-support materials for senior leadership
- Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders in complex mission environments
- Experience participating in interagency working groups or cross-functional teams preferred
Compensation:
- Total compensation based on experience level - $130,000-$148,000+
