SAIC is looking for an experienced Microsoft Exchange Online Technical Support Engineer to provide dedicated support for U.S. Army 365 (A365) end users. In this role, you will deliver high-quality technical assistance for Exchange Online services, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining reliable communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams, driving collaboration and contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes and service delivery.
NOTE: This is a Hybrid position. The individual will be required to work at the nearest designated US Army installation as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for Exchange Online services within the Army 365 environment.
- Plan and execute the migration of user mailboxes, data, and services from on-premises and legacy systems to Microsoft 365.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex email, mailbox, calendar, and connectivity issues.
- Manage and support Exchange Online configurations, policies, and security settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during and after the migration process.
- Document resolutions, create knowledge base articles, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's and nine (9) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments, including Exchange Online.
- Proven, hands-on experience with migration tools for Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive (e.g., Sharegate, Metalogix, AvePoint).
- Experience with hybrid Exchange environments (on-premises + Exchange Online).
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, Azure Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mail flow, mailbox permissions, and connectivity issues.
- Experience with security and compliance features (DLP, retention, auditing).
- Experience with DoD O365 tenants (Army 365, GCC High, or DoD environments).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a current DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, or CASP+.Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
