About the Role
Client is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Lead to take primary functional ownership of the Oracle GovCloud ERP workstream. This is a senior, hands-on production support and functional leadership role for someone ready to step into an existing workload and become the go-to Oracle ERP functional subject matter expert for a live production environment.
You'll work directly with Finance and business stakeholders to resolve complex production issues, optimize existing Oracle configurations, support quarterly releases and SOX controls, and help prepare the environment for future Phase 2 capabilities.

What You'll Do
- Assume day-to-day functional ownership of the Oracle GovCloud ERP workstream
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 functional production support
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex ERP issues
- Review existing configurations and identify implementation gaps or design deficiencies
- Support Oracle GovCloud Accounting, Procurement, Cash Management, PPM, Project Management and related financial processes
- Support project costing and project financial management processes
- Translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud functional solutions
- Develop functional specifications for integrations, reports, workflows, extensions and enhancements
- Partner with Oracle technical resources to design and validate solutions
- Manage and prioritize functional production issues and enhancement requests
- Open, manage and escalate Oracle Service Requests
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial processing
- Lead business-process optimization initiatives
- Identify opportunities to replace manual processes or unnecessary customizations with Oracle-native Cloud functionality
- Maintain functional configuration documentation, Visio diagrams and business-process documentation
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and knowledge documentation
What We're Looking For

- 10+ years of Oracle Cloud technical/functional development experience
- Strong Oracle Procurement experience
- Strong Oracle Projects/PPM experience
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financials modules and integration
- Significant post-production Oracle Cloud support experience
- Experience with Oracle quarterly updates
- Experience with UAT and regression testing
- Experience developing functional specifications
- Experience supporting SOX 302/404-controlled business processes
- Experience supporting publicly traded organizations
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a production ERP functional workload

- Project-driven manufacturing
- Oracle SCM Cloud
- Project-driven supply chain
- Federal contractor / DOE environment experience
- Nuclear, aerospace & defense, energy/utilities, or other highly regulated industries
