Job Description
Nakupuna Companies is seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Online / SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support modern solutions across SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing custom, responsive, secure, and accessible SharePoint solutions using SPFx, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. This individual will collaborate with business users, technical teams, and government stakeholders to analyze requirements, improve business processes, and translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
Experience integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, or Azure services is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additional relevant professional experience, technical training, or industry certifications may be considered in place of a degree.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires a Public Trust determination and Common Access Card. Applicants do not need to possess an active Public Trust or CAC when applying and may begin employment before the process is completed. - Collaborate with business users, product owners, and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and refine business and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx.
- Develop responsive and accessible SPFx web parts, extensions, application customizers, field customizers, and reusable components.
- Build modern user interfaces using TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Fluent UI, and related front-end technologies.
- Integrate SharePoint Online solutions with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, Azure services, and other internal or external systems.
- Configure and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content types, site columns, metadata, navigation, permissions, search, and information architecture.
- Design and implement solutions that integrate SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that complement or extend SharePoint functionality, as needed.
- Develop custom connectors and API-based integrations for SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Participate in solution-architecture and technical-design discussions and recommend secure, scalable, and maintainable approaches.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user-acceptance test plans and document testing results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, permission problems, integration failures, and other production-support concerns.
- Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions to ensure their continued reliability, performance, security, and usability.
- Package and deploy SPFx solutions through established development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Use Git, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools for source control, work-item tracking, code reviews, builds, and release management.
- Support automated deployment and application lifecycle management practices for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable security, governance, data-protection, records-management, and accessibility requirements.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to reusable components, development standards, and technical best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other project team members.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, deployment instructions, runbooks, configuration guides, and user documentation.
- Demonstrate completed functionality to customers and provide user training and technical assistance when needed.
- Participate in Agile Scrum planning, refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other project activities.
- Remain current with changes to SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, and related development technologies.
Qualifications

- Experience developing canvas or model-driven applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Experience designing automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, forms, views, and security roles.
- Experience building custom connectors or integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online.
- Experience creating or embedding Power BI reports and dashboards within SharePoint Online or Microsoft Teams.
- Experience integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, or other Azure services.
- Experience with Power Apps Component Framework controls.
- Experience using PnP PowerShell, the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK, or other Microsoft 365 administrative scripting tools.
- Experience using Fluent UI and reusable React component libraries.
- Experience modernizing classic SharePoint applications or migrating solutions to SharePoint Online.
- Experience establishing or supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Power Platform governance, data-loss-prevention policies, environment management, and application lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, SharePoint agents, or other Microsoft 365 AI capabilities.
- Experience conducting code reviews or mentoring junior developers.
- Experience working in a federal government or Department of Defense environment.
