About the Job
SecureStrux is seeking a ServiceNow Developer located in West Mifflin, PA to design and build ServiceNow solutions supporting NRLFO Mission Support Division’s business and technical workflows, working within a federal compliance environment (DOE/NNSA, FISMA/NIST) to deliver secure, well-documented, auditable applications.
Job Details
- Part Time, Hourly, approximately 1,040 hours within the period of performance. Total compensation expected: between $100K – $140K/yr
- Onsite, located at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin, PA. The candidate must be able to commute to site in West Mifflin, PA daily and be able to work Part-Time during the core hours of 09:00AM-03:00 PM Monday-Friday
The Work You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow workflow applications supporting business and technical needs
- Configure ServiceNow applications, forms, and workflows to stakeholder requirements across ITSM, ITOM, workflow, catalog, and custom applications
- Maintain accurate documentation and a log of developed/deployed modules for audit and tracking
- Provide ongoing operations support for deployed ServiceNow applications and modules
- Build and maintain progress-tracking documentation for development tasks and projects
- Deliver bi-weekly progress briefings to management; proactively flag at-risk completion dates and reasons
- Maintain awareness of and comply with cyber, physical security, and safety policies
- Develop, maintain, and document ServiceNow development policies, processes, and procedures
- Support mission-driven automation/workflow initiatives and coordinate development requests per DOE/NNSA and Naval Reactors IT guidance
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of directly relevant ServiceNow development/administration experience
- Demonstrated proficiency configuring, scripting, developing, and deploying solutions across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, workflow, catalog, custom applications)
- Must currently hold an active DOE “L” access authorization (Clearance) prior to contract start. Reciprocity with DOD clearance can be used while adjudication of DOE clearance is evaluated. Reciprocal DoD Clearance Level is a Secret.
- Working knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks — change control, configuration management, auditability, secure workflow development, documentation standards for sensitive unclassified systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex ServiceNow information clearly per DOE/NNSA reporting expectation
Preferred
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems under federal compliance standards; familiarity with secure development lifecycle requirements
- Experience contributing to organizational IT procedures, SOPs, and compliance documentation
- Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills working across federal contractors, government offices, site personnel, and technical team
