Supervisory Realty Specialist

Duties

• Exercise technical and administrative supervision over civilian professional, technical, and administrative positions.
• Oversee the USACE real estate leasing program for highly secure and classified facilities.
• Act as a Real Estate Contracting Officer for the approval and execution of realty actions.
• Resolve issues impacting the timely execution of real property support for customers.
• Provide technical oversight, advice, and direction on real estate matters to government and secure community clients.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires that the incumbent possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• Travel in excess of 40% can be anticipated, including OCONUS. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
• It should be expected that this position may require immunizations dependent on specific travel destinations and as prescribed at time of travel for those destinations.
• The position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Real Estate Contracting Officer Warrant no later than 24 months after employment.
• This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
• In addition to security clearance requirement, the individual must be able to meet Intelligence Community requirements for access to secure space and equipment.
• Individual must be able to pass a polygraph test or a series of polygraph tests and continue to pass the polygraph test on a periodic basis.
• This position requires participation in the Department of Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program to include passing a urinalysis drug testing prior to appointment and passing random urinalysis drug testing after appointment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Executing real estate acquisition and management requirements for stakeholders; 2) Applying relevant laws, regulations or policies to execute real estate actions; 3) Conducting complex real estate negotiations, such as leases, licenses, easements or permits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
