Job Description
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Engineer(CI/CD) to join our team. Position is desired to be within the commuting distance of JBSA San Antonio, remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Architect, build, and maintain robust, automated deployment pipelines, release workflows, and product modules across complex, multi-environment architectures.
- Leverage DevOps technologies to automate deployment solutions and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within the Oracle Cloud Environment (OCI).
- Define automation architecture requirements and establish organizational standards for CI/CD pipeline design, security controls (DevSecOps), and release strategies.
- Lead research and development projects, mentor technical staff, and ensure all system designs conform to strict quality, performance, and security specifications.
- Partner with program management to evaluate the technical feasibility, scalability, and long-term viability of continuous delivery plans.
- Analyze existing products, processes, and delivery channels to recommend high-impact enhancements that improve system reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Interpret business requirements into actionable technical strategies, anticipating potential objections to influence stakeholders toward modern DevOps best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering OR a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Proven, strong experience with Jenkins for pipeline creation and administration.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience designing and managing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Expert-level experience with Git version control and shell/automation scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working within the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), or government defense contracting environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise deployment automation and CI/CD tools such as FlexDeploy.
- Formal Jenkins certification (e.g., CloudBees Certified Jenkins Engineer or equivalent CI/CD accreditation).
