Pega Developer
Location: Washington, DC (80% On-Site, 20% Remote)
Work Schedule: On-site 4 days per week in downtown Washington, DC with flexibility for 1 remote day per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a Pega Developer to support the design, development, configuration, and deployment of Pega-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a foundational background in application development, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to expand their expertise within the Pega platform. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.
Required Experience Level
Application Development: P1 (Beginner, 0-2 years)
Web Application Development: P1 (Beginner, 0-2 years)
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Pega applications and workflows.
Configure and customize Pega solutions to support business and operational requirements.
Integrate Pega applications with external systems and services.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, and implementation activities.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Continuously develop technical skills and expand knowledge of the Pega platform.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in application development and/or web application development.
Understanding of software development concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Demonstrated interest in learning and developing expertise in Pega technologies.
Work Environment
Client site located in downtown Washington, DC.
Required on-site presence four days per week.
One remote workday per week may be available based on program requirements.
Approximately 80% on-site and 20% remote work arrangement.
