BAE Systems - Intelligence & Security is seeking an experienced leader to execute a critical, national security intelligence mission. The Portfolio Director will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management and financial growth of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) portfolio of contracts.
The Portfolio Director must have a proven track record of developing, building, transforming, and growing a GEOINT business to include both IT services and analytics while continuing BAE Systems' long history of providing trusted GEOINT services to the Intelligence Community. The Program Director will lead a team of Program Managers responsible for profit and loss, cost management, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and technical execution of the mission. The individual who fills this role will have expert communication skills to lead a large organization, grow and develop a high performing management team, effectively interact with and use functional support staff, build customer relationships, and report on contract performance.

Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan consistent with the goals and objectives of the company
- Coordinate with P&L leadership and business winning staff to integrate corporate growth strategy into portfolio-level strategies and pipeline development
- Engage with customers and other GEOINT companies and stakeholders to identify, shape and capture new business growth opportunities
- Build and maintain a high level of customer engagement across the portfolio
- Establish productive relationships with counterparts in other segments of the business, vendors, industry partners, customers and staff
- Lead proposal development efforts including developing win themes and discriminators, overseeing volume leads, and pricing strategy
- Identify factors that create differentiators in the development of intelligence services and solutions
- Establish performance objectives and meet business projections; establish parameters to maximize sales and margins needed for business growth
- Achieve financial objectives established in the annual business plan
- Attract, develop and retain high performing, diverse talent within the business; build future leaders through mentoring and serving as a role model
- Promote quality service and high customer satisfaction to advance the business and meet/exceed growth objectives
- Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries
- Oversee compliance and serve in a leading role promoting adherence to the company's ethical standards and business practices
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 12 years' work experience in the intelligence field or equivalent experience
- 6 years' direct experience working with GEOINT
- Direct P&L responsibility of at least $50M annual revenue
- At least 8 years management experience
- Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting
- Direct experience in managing multi-task contract or subcontract of various types and complexities
- Knowledge/experience working with the NGA, Combatant Commands (COCOMS) and other joint and combined Intelligence Operations, and IC mission partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details. Experience in preparing & delivering presentations to senior leaders in government, customers or peers.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Intelligence Community, Department of Defense or military background, or experience in dealing with government procurement decision processes.
- Demonstrated proposal writing, editing, and color team review experience
- Master's Degree in either business or related field
- PMP
