Administrators directly support the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) operations by assuring the integrity of data stored within the system. Serve as the main point of contact for the customer during operational and maintenance shift activities while maintaining system functionality. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access.

Role

This role is in support of a F35 Fighter Squadron at NAS JRB Fort Worth. The selected candidate will deploy with the squadron. Deployments typically range from 2 weeks to 6 months. We are seeking an experienced administrator to support the JSF Mission Planning Environment (MPE) and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). In this role you will cross-train and operate across multiple information-system disciplines-including Systems, Network, Security, and Database-in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

Interacting daily with end-users, ALIS/MPE/LM leadership, and other stakeholders. Maintain systems, databases, software, and firewalls while monitoring health and security. Image laptops, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and manage user account provisioning/de-provisioning. Conduct availability/performance monitoring of applications and infrastructure. You will maintain MPE for both end-users and administrators, training and advising the customer as needed. Assist ALIS administrators with multi-functional requirements such as database upkeep, network configuration, and security hardening. Additionally, you will fulfill COMSEC CRO and user duties. Enforce COMSEC policies and train team members on COMSEC procedures. Support pilots during mission planning and debriefing by identifying and resolving system shortfalls.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years


  • Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)


  • IT experience of any combination in system/database/network/mission planning- administration


  • This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week-which may include weekends-as dictated by mission requirements.

Computing environment experience with RHEL, Server 2019, Win10, Win11, Unix

Experience Troubleshooting Applications

Account Maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM

Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)

Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components

Knowledge and familiarity with ePO

Knowledge and familiarity with Splunk

Working knowledge of applying anti-virus/anti-spyware updates

Working knowledge of applying vulnerability patches

Experience working for or supporting the US military

Experience with VIPs and Stakeholders

Knowledge of US AirForce fighter squadron training and/or operational work flows

Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) experience

Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR) experience

Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience

Familiarity with JSF ALIS hardware and software

Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
