Job Description

Our client is targeting two detail-oriented Inventory Administrators to provide temporary, hands-on support to their Property organization.

These positions will primarily support physical inventory, material organization, identification and verification, labeling, material movement, and inventory cleanup activities. The successful candidates will work closely with the Property team to improve physical organization and inventory accuracy while helping resolve existing inventory and material-accountability efforts.

This is a hands-on role requiring individuals who are comfortable working directly with material, navigating inventory and storage areas, following established processes, and accurately documenting completed work.

These positions are intended to be approximately six-month contract assignments and are expected to work on-site.

Responsibilities
Support physical inventory and cycle-count activities by locating, counting, and verifying material.
Organize inventory, storage cabinets, and material locations to improve accessibility, identification, and inventory accuracy.
Verify part numbers, quantities, locations, labels, serial numbers, and other identifying information against inventory records and provided work lists.
Identify and document discrepancies between physical material and inventory records for review by the Property team.
Label and relabel material as directed to support proper identification and traceability.
Support material movement, consolidation, return-to-stock, and other inventory cleanup activities.
Assist with organizing material in established alphanumeric, location, or other defined storage structures.
Support cleanup of aged, excess, unidentified, or improperly stored material under direction of the Property team.
Update spreadsheets, trackers, ERP records, or other documentation as directed to accurately capture work performed.
Support physical inventory reconciliation activities by providing accurate count and verification information to the Property team.
Assist with Property and material-accountability projects as priorities evolve throughout the assignment.
Follow established procedures and work instructions and escalate questions or discrepancies rather than making unsupported assumptions.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and support safe material-handling practices.
Work collaboratively with Property, Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Receiving Inspection, and other teams as needed.

Qualifications
Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, stockroom, logistics, material handling, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment preferred.
Property or Government Property experience is beneficial but not required.
Experience performing physical inventories, cycle counts, stockroom organization, or inventory cleanup activities preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate counting and documentation.
Ability to follow written work instructions and established processes consistently.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work through assigned populations methodically.
Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic computer systems to document work performed.
ERP/MRP experience is beneficial but not required.
Ability to identify discrepancies and ask questions when physical material does not match expected information.
Dependable and able to work independently on assigned tasks while communicating status and issues to the Property team.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to safely handle and move material associated with normal inventory and stockroom activities.
