Cloud Platform Engineer
Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily operational management and support of the DOE EITS Microsoft 365 environment.
- Act as a subject matter expert and administrator for Microsoft 365, overseeing the maintenance and optimization of Office 365 infrastructure, applications, and associated technologies.
- Essential in managing and providing technical support for a range of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, Bookings, and Planner.
- Tasked with building and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency, as well as serving as the highest tier of escalation (Tier 3 Collaboration) complex issues.
- Collaborate closely with the agency’s infrastructure team to ensure a secure and robust Microsoft cloud environment.
- You will be expected to handle operational tasks related to Azure Active Directory, including managing enterprise applications and app registrations.
Exposure to large-scale environments and experience supporting enterprise-level Microsoft 365 deployments will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and the implementation of best practices for cloud security and collaboration tools will help you excel in this position.
