We are seeking a strategic Creative Director to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of human-centered digital experiences for large-scale digital transformation initiatives in the public sector. This leader will work with business stakeholders, product owners, and client executives to shape modern, accessible, and user-focused solutions that improve outcomes for citizens, clients, and government organizations. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in user experience design, consulting, facilitation, and team leadership. This role will help organizations modernize legacy experiences into intuitive, scalable digital products and services.

- Leading the design vision, strategy, and execution for digital transformation programs serving public sector clients
- Directing multidisciplinary teams across user experience design, service design, content, and prototyping efforts
- Partnering with client executives, product owners, and business stakeholders to define experience strategies and solution roadmaps
- Guiding user research, journey mapping, concept development, and experience design to improve digital service delivery
- Driving the creation of accessible, scalable, and user-centered digital products that support modernization goals

Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Graphic Design, or a similar field
- 6+ years of experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and design system libraries for user experience design, service design, product design, or digital design
- 4+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary design teams for digital product or service delivery
- 2+ years of experience leading design work for large-scale digital transformation programs in government or public sector environments
- 2+ years of experience designing digital products and services aligned with accessibility standards, including Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1
- 1+ years of experience leading stakeholder workshops, design sprints, or co-creation sessions with client teams
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- A strong design portfolio
- 1+ years of experience translating user research into journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and service blueprints
- 1+ years of experience supporting proposals, pursuits, or business development activities for public sector work
- 1+ years of experience leading modernization of legacy digital platforms or service experiences
- 1+ years of experience using Generative Artificial Intelligence tools to accelerate design workflows, support research synthesis, ideation, content development, or design iteration
- 1+ years of experience supporting minimum viable product launches, feature releases, or maintenance releases
- 1+ years of experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers across the product lifecycle
- 1+ years of experience designing iOS and Android mobile applications, including work aligned to Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines
- 1+ years of experience using motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Principle, or Framer
