Job Description

Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking a professional and customer-focused Access Control Officer to support access control and security screening operations at Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) facilities. This position is responsible for controlling facility access, conducting security inspections, assisting visitors, and ensuring compliance with established security procedures while helping protect personnel, facilities, and assets.

  • The ideal candidate is a dependable security professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to customer service. This role offers the opportunity to support critical federal security operations while maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for government personnel, visitors, and stakeholders.


**The shift for this position will be from 3PM-11PM . **Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Perform access control screening functions for employees, visitors, and authorized personnel.


  • Control access to buildings, facilities, and property in accordance with established procedures.


  • Carry out general and special orders for assigned areas.


  • Conduct interior and exterior facility security inspections as directed.


  • Protect government property, equipment, and materials.


  • Communicate effectively via radio, telephone, and in-person interactions.


  • Escort visitors, contractors, and government personnel as required.


  • Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, visitors, and the public.


  • Maintain composure and professionalism during stressful or emergency situations.


  • Assist medical personnel, fire departments, law enforcement personnel, and other responders as directed.


  • Prepare clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports and documentation.


  • Read, understand, and apply printed rules, orders, instructions, and training materials.


  • Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification documentation upon hire.


  • High School Diploma or GED required.


  • Must be at least 21 years of age.


  • Prior military, civilian law enforcement, security guard, or related security experience preferred.


  • Must successfully complete all required training and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, certifications, and security clearances required for the assignment.


  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.


  • Must have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.


  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance or meet all requirements necessary to obtain and maintain required security credentials.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal government security operations.


  • Experience performing access control and visitor management functions.


  • Experience working in controlled-access or high-security environments.


  • Experience interacting with executive leadership, VIPs, and government personnel.


  • CPR, First Aid, or other security-related certifications.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Knowledge of access control procedures, visitor management principles, and facility security operations.


  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.


  • Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with employees, visitors, VIPs, and government personnel.


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.


  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.


  • Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate information to support operational decisions.


  • Ability to prepare reports, logs, correspondence, and operational documentation.


  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.


  • Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


  • Ability to operate computers, communications equipment, and standard office equipment.
