Job Description

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks an Integrated Master Scheduler (Project Management, Senior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. The PMO Integrated Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining an integrated, portfolio-level view of schedules, milestones, dependencies, and key activities across various programs, projects and modernization initiatives.

Individual project teams are responsible for maintaining their respective project plans and schedules. The Integrated Master Scheduler will work across these teams to consolidate schedule information into an Integrated Master Schedule, identify cross-project dependencies and schedule risks, and provide PMO and client leadership with a clear view of overall portfolio progress.

This role serves as the central scheduling and integration point for the PMO, connecting individual project schedules into an actionable portfolio-level picture.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across applications, projects, and major initiatives.
  • Consolidate project schedules, milestones, releases, migrations, approvals, and other critical activities into an integrated portfolio view.
  • Identify and track cross-project dependencies, critical paths, schedule conflicts, sequencing issues, and potential downstream impacts.
  • Monitor major milestones and identify activities trending behind schedule or presenting risk to broader program objectives.
  • Create portfolio-level roadmaps, milestone reports, dashboards, and executive-level schedule views.
  • Establish consistent scheduling standards and expectations across project teams and conduct periodic schedule quality reviews.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Product Managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate schedule information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Facilitate cross-project schedule and dependency discussions and communicate schedule impacts, risks, and decision points to PMO and client leadership.
  • Support portfolio planning and governance by providing an integrated view of planned work, upcoming milestones, and key schedule considerations.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program scheduling, planning, or a related role within a PMO or complex multi-project environment.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles, including milestones, dependencies, critical paths, schedule variance, and schedule risk.
  • Experience consolidating multiple project schedules into an integrated program or portfolio-level view.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work across project management, engineering, technical, and executive stakeholder groups.
  • Experience developing executive-level schedule reporting, roadmaps, and milestone views.
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience/familiarity with Service Now Strategic Portfolio Management, Jira, Power BI, Azure DevOps or similar project scheduling and reporting tools.

Desired Qualifications
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government programs or complex IT environments.
  • Experience with software development, application modernization, or cloud migration initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Clearance

Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $90,000 - $95,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
