-Work within Linux-based operating systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as LynxOS, Integrity, or similar environments.
-Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, story execution, testing, and delivery.
-Interpret and execute technical requirements, data sheets, build instructions, and engineering documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
-Integrate, troubleshoot, and validate software functionality with hardware subsystems.
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support the development of advanced avionics and mission system technologies.
-Support internal research and development projects focused on innovative and proprietary defense-related technologies.
-Contribute to software verification, debugging, and performance optimization activities.

Required Skills:

-7+ years of experience in a software engineering environment
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
-Experience developing embedded software in C; C++ experience strongly preferred.
-Experience with Linux operating systems.
-Experience working in a real-time operating system environment (RTOS) such as LynxOS, Integrity, VxWorks, QNX, or similar.
-Experience developing software for embedded hardware or single board computer platforms.
-Understanding of low-level software concepts, hardware interfaces, and device driver development.
-Ability to follow detailed written instructions, technical procedures, and engineering documentation.
-Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Desired Skills:

-Experience developing software for aerospace, avionics, defense, or mission-critical systems.
-Experience interfacing software with FPGA-based hardware.
-Familiarity with military aircraft systems, mission computers, avionics, or weapons system integrations.
-Exposure to hardware/software integration and system-level testing.
