Job Description
Tygart is currently seeking a Business Analyst to support a small application development team and serve as an interface to the end customer for the gathering of requirements. The successful candidate will have experience supporting application development projects. This position requires that the candidate pass a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) background investigation.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as the interface between the development team and the end customer in refining and documenting requirements
Support the Project Manager in the development of deliverables
Work with application developers in testing of application components
Facilitate customer testing, collecting feedback and refine requirements as needed
Maintain project documentation and support the tracking progress via available tool suites.
Work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or similar technical discipline
Five (5) years or more years of experience serving as a Business Analyst for application development projects.
Experience working on Agile development projects.
Hands-on experience configuring and using the Atlassian Suite of tools
Experience conducting application testing
Business Analyst and Agile certifications are desired.
Must be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
