The Raptor (F-22) software ecosystem powers the world's most capable air-dominance fighter. As the Engineering Project Manager (Level 6) you will own the cost, schedule, and performance of every engineering activity that fuels the continuous-software release pipeline-delivering new capabilities, bug fixes, and sustainment updates at an unprecedented cadence. This is a rare opportunity to shape the software-delivery engine that keeps the Raptor mission-ready, future-proof, and ahead of emerging threats.
Responsobilities include:
Leading cross-functional coordination with program management, cyber-security, flight-test, logistics, and supplier teams.
Accountability for cost performance - budget planning, forecasting, and cost-control actions; partner with finance to close gaps.
Risk Management - Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and integration risks; lead weekly RMS (Risk-Mitigation-Status) reviews.
Performance Metrics & Reporting - Define KPIs (release frequency, defect density, mean-time-to-deploy, availability) and present dashboards to senior executives
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher with experience in Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Experience with and strong understanding of project management concepts and techniques
• Experience with EVMS and/or CAM
• Final SECRET security clearance
Desired Skills
• knowledge of F-22 Command Media / Systems Engineering Processes
• CAM training and experience with IFG CAM tools & processes
• Experience effectively communicating status, accomplishments and challenges
• Demonstrated accountability and proactivity
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Works effectively with minimal guidance
• Well developed soft skills interacting with internal team and customers

Full-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
