Training Administrator

Duties

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Health IT training, responsible for implementation and integration of Electronic Health Record (EHR) automation technologies and business applications into training.
• Oversee and develop program instructors
• Provide oversight and direction in execution of Health IT Training Programs within the region to assure standardization and coordination of work efforts.
• Coordinate and oversee class specific instruction and serve as a subject matter expert for the lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises.
• Oversee the implementation, execution and administration of the Health IT training catalog of courses.
• Develop and oversee the training organization inspection program and ensure sites are integrated to the DHA training sustainment standards.
• Design, develop, implement, and sustain training to produce role-based Health IT training outcomes.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing comprehensive Military Health Systems (MHS) training programs and content tailored to organizational requirements; interpreting and analyzing policies to align with strategic training objectives; evaluating course content to enhance instructional strategies for clinical systems; providing technical expertise and oversight to ensure the quality of training development within the Health Information Technology (HIT) domain; and managing end-to-end training administration.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
