Job Description
We are hiring a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile processes for a DevOps and Quality Assurance (QA) team supporting software development, CI/CD, and testing initiatives. This role will help drive team performance by facilitating Agile ceremonies, tracking delivery metrics, coordinating priorities, and removing impediments. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Owner, technical SMEs, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders to support effective Agile delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily/weekly scrums, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies using Jira.
- Track team velocity, open/closed ticket metrics, and delivery performance; produce weekly and quarterly status reports.
- Coordinate task assignments with technical SMEs and the Product Owner to support sprint commitments and priorities.
- Identify, track, and remove technical and organizational impediments impacting CI/CD, testing, and software delivery.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, engineering, and program stakeholders to improve Agile processes and team performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote Agile best practices across the development lifecycle.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development, R&D, IT, or related technical environments.
- Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and supporting software development teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps, QA, CI/CD, and software testing workflows.
- Experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, task tracking, and reporting.
- Experience tracking Agile metrics, including velocity and ticket status, and producing management reports.
- Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive issues to resolution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical SMEs, Product Owners, engineers, and customer stakeholders.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Ability to work in McLean, VA; Huntsville, AL; or remotely, as required by the program.
