CLEARANCE / SUITABILITY REQUIREMENT: Public Trust security clearance is required for this position.


Position Summary

Responsible for the design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of AV/VTC systems, ensuring reliable delivery of audio, video, and collaboration technologies in conference rooms, training facilities, executive briefing centers, and virtual/hybrid meeting environments.

Key Responsibilities


  • Configure and maintain AV equipment including video editing/post-production tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Wondershare), Blackmagic video switchers, cameras, audio mixers, DSPs, control systems, projection systems, and LED displays.

  • Set up and manage video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, Poly RealPresence); coordinate multi-location connections and resolve connectivity/interoperability issues.

  • Operate and support live meetings, executive presentations, webinars, town halls, training events, webcasts, and conferences, including live switching, audio mixing, and recording.

  • Design and integrate AV/VTC solutions; develop signal flow diagrams and equipment layouts; configure AV-over-IP networks.

  • Configure and maintain DSPs, control processors, cameras, microphones, displays, and switching equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot audio quality, video transmission, network connectivity, codec performance, and AV hardware issues.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement planning for AV equipment.

  • Train end users on conference room technology and collaboration tools; provide storyboarding, visual storytelling, motion graphics, and graphic design/animation support.



Minimum Qualifications


  • 10 years of experience supporting an environment similar to EEOC's.

  • Experience supporting comparable AV/VTC equipment and systems.

  • Experience working with dispersed, multi-site field office environments.



General Requirements (All Positions)


  • Must currently hold, or be able to favorably pass, a full-field five-year employment background investigation (SF-85P) prior to performing work.

  • This is a Public Trust suitability requirement (OPM standards, 5 CFR Part 736), not a national security clearance.

  • Acceptable command of the English language.

  • Subject to Contractor-funded training of at least 40 hours/year in core competencies.
