Your role and responsibilities
As a Task Lead and Cyber Planner, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks and exposures that could impact the organization's assets, operations, financial stability, and reputation. You will develop and implement strategies to protect against various types of threats, requiring a deep understanding of cyber-security and risk management principles.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Identify and Assess Risks: Develop and maintain risk models and scenarios to simulate potential exposures, analyzing data and industry trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Develop Mitigation Strategies: Create and implement strategies to protect against various types of threats, working collaboratively with peer cyber-security functions to provide holistic recommendations to senior management.
• Conduct Cyber Operations Planning: Conduct cyber planning across the spectrum of cyber operations and mission support to include mission analysis, execution and post mission evaluation.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Ensure comprehensive mission planning and compliance with industry standards and Organizational processes and legal requirements and regulations, working closely with teams to provide guidance and support.
• Provide Recommendations: Offer senior management guidance on exposure management strategies and policies, leveraging expertise in military operations, full spectrum cyber operations and risk management principles.
*This person will be required to come into the Fort Meade, MD office 5 days a week
Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Military and Full-spectrum Cyber Operations Knowledge: A thorough understanding of military planning and cyber operation principles, including threat analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to conduct cyber operations.
• Risk Management Expertise: Experience with risk management principles, including developing and maintaining risk models and scenarios to simulate potential exposures, analyzing data and industry trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with military and full spectrum cyber operations, applicable tools and operational processes.
• Industry and Military Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry and military operational standards and regulations related to mission management and cyber operations, with the ability to ensure comprehensive support to full spectrum missions.
• Strategic Guidance: Experience providing strategic guidance to senior management on cyber mission planning and operations management strategies and policies, leveraging expertise in cyber mission execution and risk management principles.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI is required
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification required (e.g., CISSP, CASP CE, CCNP, CISA)
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Advanced Threat Analysis: Deep expertise in analyzing complex threats and developing effective mitigation strategies to protect against various types of threats.
• Mission Assessment Tools: Experience with multiple mission planning and assessment tools, to support cyber operations
• Industry Adversarial Threat and Trends Analysis: Ability to analyze data and trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities, informing recommendations for senior management on mission planning and cyber operations management strategies and policies.
