Job Description

Our Government & Public Services practice helps government agencies and public sector organizations address complex operational challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes. As part of this work, the Site Analyst supports site implementation activities that help teams stay organized, meet project milestones, and maintain accurate project records. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented professional who can coordinate multiple administrative and project support activities in a fast-paced environment.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant on the Strategy team, you will be responsible for supporting the client with day-to-day oversight.
  • Apply industry-leading tools, technology, and software to assess the impact of policy on organizations, using assessments of organizational culture, performance, and readiness for change.
  • Research and identify existing policy issues, trends, and opportunities for the development of new policies.
  • Develop, draft, and implement medical logistics policy artifacts (e.g., instructions, manuals, SOPs, playbooks) supporting medical materiel, pharmaceuticals, cold chain, equipment lifecycle, and distribution and operational environments.
  • Lead policy lifecycle management activities, including intake, prioritization, impact assessment, coordination, staffing, adjudication, approvals, publication, and periodic review.
  • Develop and implement policy initiatives that align with organizational objectives and strategies.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide feedback on current policy initiatives; analyze policies to identify strengths, weaknesses, conflicts, redundancies, and implementation risks.
  • Conduct research to provide evidence-based recommendations for policy improvements and measurable compliance criteria.
  • Translate operational requirements into implementable policy and procedures, including clearly defined roles, governance, controls, and auditability.
  • Develop/refresh concept of operations (CONOPS) and concept of support (COS) to define medical logistics operating models and workflows (as-is/to-be).
  • Facilitate working sessions and cross-functional forums; develop executive-ready decision briefs, readouts, decision logs, and action tracking to drive alignment and decisions.
  • Develop and execute communication plans leveraging creative, engaging mediums and platforms.
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives including business development, culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.
  • Provide informal coaching and/or mentoring of team members and perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of deliverables

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of professional work experience in policy writing and/or administration
  • 1+ years of experience in policy development for clients in the government and/or public sector
  • 1+ years of experience creating instructional guides, memos, concept of operations, and concept of support documents, among others
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Must be able to work onsite in Falls Church, VA 3 days a week
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
  • Demonstrated ability to author, staff, and adjudicate policies through multiple stakeholders; strong technical writing, editing, and document QA skills.

This compensation range is specific to Washington DC and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,100 to $155,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
