[About the Role] Join Indotronix as a Technical Designer / Wire Harness Level 3 and play a pivotal role in supporting complex electrical and mechanical design projects for a leading aerospace client in Oklahoma City, OK. This onsite, second-shift position empowers you to work hands-on in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, with training provided post start. You'll contribute to the development, fabrication, and maintenance of advanced wire harness systems, directly impacting product reliability and safety. Secret Clearance required post-hire. [Responsibilities] - Develop, maintain, and release detailed electrical/mechanical drawings and engineering documentation to meet strict industry and government standards - Prepare and update documentation using advanced design tools, incorporating necessary design changes and corrections - Create and modify system designs, layouts, and installation plans, identifying and resolving design discrepancies - Support engineering teams with system design validation and functionality testing - Plan, conduct, and document product tests, analyze source data, and ensure accuracy of technical materials - Fabricate, install, route, terminate, solder, and repair wire harnesses and associated electrical components - Coordinate project activities and deliverables with internal partners and external suppliers - Author and self-review technical documents, following standardized procedures and publication requirements - Develop maintenance, repair, and retrofit procedures to guide end-users in restoring and maintaining product functionality - Mark up illustrations and submit technical changes, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 3 years' experience designing and fabricating wire harnesses and cables - Proficient in power measurement instrumentation (power supplies, power meters, analyzers) - Skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings - Advanced troubleshooting abilities using volt ohm meters and electrical system schematics - Hands-on experience with electrical fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair - Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds during an 8-hour shift - Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience [Preferred Skills] - Experience developing technical documentation for aerospace or defense systems - Familiarity with SGML and authoring for multiple document outputs - Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams [Benefits] - Competitive compensation and overtime eligibility - Comprehensive training and onboarding - Opportunity to gain and maintain Secret Clearance - Work-life balance with set second-shift hours - Engaging, supportive team environment with clear growth paths [How to Apply] Ready to advance your technical career?
