This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the JSF program at the Patuxent River flight test site. This position will require employee to work in a team environment maintaining F-35 aircraft. Tasks will include items such as aircraft Inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul, modification, fabrication and weapon loading as required.

Further Information About This Opportunity
This position is in NAS Pax River, Maryland.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance with an Interim Secret to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

***Ability to attain required qualifications within projected training timeline***
Basic Qualifications
3 - 5 years hands - on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or USMC MOS Avionics Systems Craftsman discipline, or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA/FCC instrumentation license.
Experience with multi-facets of wire/connector repair to include but not limited to evaluation and testing.
Experience with reading/interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions and Aircraft Forms Documentation.
Experience with Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
Desired Skills
F-35/F-22 experience highly desirable.
Previous flight test aircraft maintenance experience.
Aircraft Instrumentation electrical systems desired.
Coax troubleshooting/repair
Advanced test equipment proficiency
Data-bus knowledge and troubleshooting
Fiber Optic Experience
JEDI/ALIS Experience
Excellent communication skills.
Able to support customer requested business travel.
Ability to acquire and maintain customer required qualifications within projected training timeline.
