The Hypersonics Advanced Programs team is looking for a Requirements and Verification (R&V) Systems Engineer, on the Next Generation Hypersonic Glide Body (NXGB) team for a rapid design to flight test project. In this role, you will report to the Systems Engineering R&V Manager. Your responsibilities may include:

• Decompose system level requirements to all units and subsystems
• Develop, update, coordinate, and supporte verification of requirements specifications
• Support the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components
• Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance
• Support formal system design reviews
• Participate in interdisciplinary engineering efforts as part of a hypersonic development project, necessitating adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving program requirements and timelines across geographically dispersed locations

Basic Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems Engineer
• Experience developing, deriving, and/or verifying requirements
• Demonstrated history of applying core systems engineering principles and processes
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills

• 8+ years experience in Systems Engineering
• ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering field (Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred)
• Experience as a systems engineer executing a missile or hypersonics development program
• Experience achieving a successful flight test
• Experience writing requirements specifications and verifying requirements
• Proficient in DOORS
• Working Knowledge of Cameo
• Experience performing requirement traceability gap analysis
• Experience contributing to major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Experience formally briefing customers and executives
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
