Join the V2X Aircraft Integration and Sustainment team. We are seeking an experienced Production Control Clerk which performs administrative and clerical support duties supporting aircraft maintenance, modification and FAA Repair Station programs. Issuing, processing, screening and maintaining aircraft maintenance documents and related records. The role maintains provides data reports in accordance with established procedures and contractual requirements and involves data entry and reporting using SAP and related systems.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and process maintenance documents for completeness and correctness in accordance with established procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Initiate and distribute maintenance documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Maintain and track aircraft all maintenance documents assigned.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled document inventories as required.
  • Generate maintenance reports for the production operations as directed.
  • Input maintenance actions into SAP, including backfit data as needed.
  • Maintain, transcribe, and file required maintenance documentation and correspondence.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance on maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain awareness of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) locations and applicable safety precautions.
  • Initiate work requests.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work between team members and departments.
  • Uphold the highest ethical, personal, and professional standards.
  • Files completed maintenance documentation as required.
  • Distributes applicable maintenance forms IAW established procedures.
  • Prepares typed and/or computer-generated correspondence reports.
  • Perform other related duties and support additional projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:
  • Must have two (2) years of aviation clerical, intermediate or depot level production control experience.
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced, multi-workstream environment.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and self-directed, with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as required.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Valid U.S. Drivers License is required
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance, if required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Experience:
  • Tracking depot modifications and managing the intense paper trail and digital logs required for deep structural retrofits, kit installations, and component overhauls.
  • Coordinating work flows directly with localized teams including Aircraft Structural Mechanics, Electrical Technicians, Quality Assurance (QA), and parts departments.
  • Maintaining material logs and tracking specifically for modification milestones and component backfits to schedules.
  • Must be able to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, including a good working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Basic computer software and hardware experience including competency with MS Office. Copy machine, and labeling equipment and US Government maintenance software.

Working Environment:

Primarily working in an office environment with exposure to noise hazards. May be required to handle hazardous materials.

Physical Activities:
  • Administrative duties that may require occasional kneeling, standing, stooping, and bending are required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
